Preventive Controls Qualified Individual Course
The new FSMA regulations require a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) manage a company’s food safety plan. If your company’s activities include manufacturing, processing, packing or holding human food, you must have a PCQI manage your food safety plan. This is not the same as a HACCP certified individual. A PCQI requires more to be in compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act rules. Very small businesses are required to be in compliance in 2018.
