ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Transition Updates

June 1, 2017 – We are approaching the final lap in transitioning to the 2015 versions of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. There are three remaining critical dates you should be aware of:

January 1, 2018 – All EAGLE transfers must be to the 2015 version. EAGLE will no longer accept transfers to the 2008 version.

June 1, 2018 – All Transition audits must have occurred. Scheduling of resources is critical to the success in maintaining all certifications. If you have not yet confirmed audit dates for your transition audit, your certification manager will be contacting you to do so. Please consider your audit cycle (normal timing/month of your audits) to ensure you have a plan in place with EAGLE to conduct your transition audit prior to the June 1, 2018, deadline. Deviating from your normal audit cycle to push or post-pone your transition may impact your ability to have your typical auditor and could result in increased travel expenses.

September 15, 2018 – ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certificates become obsolete. Any company that has not transitioned successfully will lose their certification.

EAGLE clients are required to complete a questionnaire to help us determine any additional time needed for the transition. In an effort to make sure we do not leave any client behind, EAGLE is working to understand which clients have not transitioned. Audits are being reviewed and estimated time for transition is  being added, pending the questionnaire submittal. The time added for transitions follows the guidelines in the webinar and power point presentation posted on the EAGLE website.

If you have not received the questionnaire, you can access it at the following links: ISO 9001 Questionnaire, ISO 14001 Questionnaire. It must be provided to your certification manager prior to the transition audit. If you have additional questions, please contact your certification manager.
